A new National Park Service report shows that 239,950 visitors to Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park in 2023 spent $16,070,000 in communities near the park. That spending supported 242 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $23,391,000
The Knob Creek Tavern Visitor Center at the Boyhood Home Unit at Knob Creek will be closed on Thursday, September 5, 2024 due to the park’s Safety Stand Down Day.
