DINOSAUR, Colo. – The National Park Service announces a major road, parking lot, and sidewalk reconstruction project in the Utah portion of Dinosaur National Monument for 2025. To conduct the work safely and efficiently, the Dinosaur Quarry Exhibit Hall will temporarily close to all visitor access from September 8, 2025, through late October 2025.
The National Park Service (NPS) announced the release of a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Fire Management Plan (FMP) for Dinosaur National Monument. This begins a 30-day public comment period that will continue through January 14, 2025.
Starting on January 1, 2025, Dinosaur National Monument will increase camping fees for visitors to fund important maintenance and improvement projects within the monument. Camping fees at Dinosaur National Monument were last increased in 2016.
