Each year, millions of people come to recreate, commemorate presidential legacies, honor our veterans, and make their voices heard.
The National Park Service, in cooperation with the Women’s Suffrage National Monument Foundation (Foundation), is seeking comments from the public on the site for the proposed Women’s Suffrage Memorial through October 8.
The National Park Service announced today that it will restore and reinstall the bronze statue of Albert Pike, which was toppled and vandalized during riots in June 2020.
Starting September 1, the National Park Service will extend metered parking along Ohio Drive SW in East Potomac Park. The new metered section will begin at the intersection of Ohio Drive and Buckeye Drive SW and continue southeast to the entrance of the East Potomac Park Golf Course.
