Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River and the Zane Grey's West Society will host the 19th Annual Zane Grey Festiva on the grounds of Zane Grey Museum in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025. This free festival offers fun for the entire family with activities, live birds show, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, and more.
Learn about birding and fishing on the Upper Delaware River with events on World Migratory Bird Day and Free Fishing Day. Both events are free to the public and offer activities such as birding and fishing tips, casting practice, crafts, and junior ranger activities.
Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is seeking outdoor enthusiasts to volunteer to be Wear It Watchers this summer. Volunteers observe, record, and collect data on life jacket usage. This valuable data is used by the park to improve water safety on the river.
Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River invites members of the public to submit nominations for the park’s Water Safety Challenge Coin Award Program. The program recognizes individuals, organizations, or groups who go above and beyond to keep others safe on the river.
