Join Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, the Pike-Wayne Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Project Healing Waters, for a free fishing clinic on September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at the Zane Grey Museum and Lackawaxen River Access.
Come on the last guided bird hike of the season with Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River and the Sullivan County Audubon Society at Minisink Battleground Park on September 14th at 8AM.
On Saturday August 23, 2025 at 12:00 PM, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River cordially invites the public to a nineteenth century baseball exhibition featuring the Flemington Club of Neshannock and the Elizabeth Resolutes. The free game will be at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Lackawaxen, PA.
Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River volunteer Avery Ohliger has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the National Park Service’s Region 1 Excellence in Volunteer Service Impact Award in the Youth & Young Adult Category for his work digitalizing, transcribing, and indexing Upper Delaware oral history files.
Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River congratulates Flor Blum, Alvin Leung, Michael Portnov, Achim Kopp, and Alex Wrona for receiving the Upper Delaware Water Safety Challenge Coin Award. These five individuals volunteered their time and language skills to translate important water safety messaging as a resource for non-English speaking river users.
